What is the GeeX Pod?
The GeeX Pod is an ultralight outdoor shelter — a combination of a pulk, a tent, and a compact micro-camper.
It can be pulled behind skis in winter, a bicycle in summer, and even used on water.
It functions as a mobile shelter and sleeping unit for year-round use, aimed at private users, outdoor enthusiasts, and rental operators.
Will the final designs be identical to our pictures/scetches?
Nope! well, not dramatically - our designs have already changed a little bit, some designs and technical changes are on the paper and issues are beeing solved every day…
How much does it weigh, and what is it made of?
The final model weighs between 8 and 19 kilograms, depending on configuration.
208 cm Length - 90-120cm hight (depending on pop-up tent-poles/hard-top modules.
- Different models is made from recycled HDPE or composite materials — fiberglass or carbon-reinforced polymer — similar to those used in expedition gear and high-performance kayaks.
How many people can sleep inside?
The Pod is designed for one adult or one adult and one child.
It’s a compact micro-shelter — not a full-size tent where you can stand up.
The connectable tent/canvas opens up for two persons sleeping outside the Pod, and with full access to the inside of the Pod or connected by zipper to identical Pod with tent/canvas - making it spcious as a very small cabin…well, still room for adults and kids!
Can it be used both in summer and winter?
Yes. The Pod has interchangeable base modules: Direct on snow or water, skis for snow(extra), wheels for road use.
It is ventilated and hard-top can be fitted with thin reflective insulation, making it suitable for both cold and warm climates.
Is it waterproof and windproof?
Yes. The base is waterproof - The entire shell/canvas is waterproof, designed and produced as a tent for any expeditions, with sealed joints and weatherproof entry.
Airflow is managed through controlled vents that ensure a comfortable interior climate even in strong wind or rain.
How is heat and power managed inside the Pod?
The Pod includes space for a small battery pack and a 12V heating system. (extra)
It can be equipped with portable solar panels or a micro wind turbine for off-grid use during longer trips.
Is it safe to sleep in?
Yes. It features natural airflow through two adjustable vents and a small window that can be partially opened.
Its low center of gravity and stable design make it secure even in strong winds or on uneven terrain.
How far can it be pulled by bike or skis?
The GeeX Pod is built for long-distance travel.
When pulled behind skis, it has been tested for 9 hours day trips, and behind a bicycle, it can easily handle several dozen kilometers per day.

What is the price range?
The estimated retail price will be between NOK 25,000 and 89,000 (approximately USD 2,400–3,200), depending on production scale and chosen options.
When will it be available?
After the crowdfunding phase, 365 Basic and 365 Adventure 2.0 will be built during february 2026.
Production and early deliveries are planned for 2026.
Supporters will get early access and discounted pricing.
Who is behind the project?
The GeeX Pod is developed by a Norwegian team with backgrounds in outdoor design, engineering, and renewable technology - and army veterans with the ability to survive with nothing but do like the idea of glamping in harsh conditions.
Our goal is to create a durable, sustainable, and versatile product built to handle Nordic conditions — and beyond.

What makes the GeexGear 365 Pod unique compared to existing small campers or pulks?
Well, its makes you want to just get out there - All you need in a sexy wrapping
Who is the primary target audience, and what secondary markets are being explored: Its for private everyday explorers, rental trough tour-operators, and some insane expeditions too!
Where will production take place – locally in Norway, but we are looking for production-opportunities on other continents.
How are safety, balance, and stability ensured at high speeds?
High speed on skis… we will test it! Crash-test in march 2026
Base is made with compartments to store your gear - making weight beeing a stabilizer at lowest point inside base.
Can it accommodate two people in emergency situations?
It can fit 2 persons in the pod in a crisis, but that will be intimate, but, the extension-pack (tent) can function as extra tent/space and can be connected to similar part (other POD/extension) using door-zipper. Two pods with extension-tent does form a open common area
Is it compatible with e-bikes, touring bikes, and ski pulk harnesses?
Yes - we designed it for that too. Mounting is universal.
How does it perform in extreme weather and temperatures below –30°C?
We are heading for extreme-testing (downhill crashtest, kiting and storms) in march 2026. All preps now will give us the answers…and maybe som new solutions.
What maintenance is required after use?
Depending on your use, but cleaning and drying canvas, and remove your old longjohns.., preparing it for next trip.
Can it be adapted for commercial use (rental, glamping, expeditions)?
Yes - our dream (amongst many) is to take a flight to anywhere, pick up our rented 365 and go pilgrimage, wineyard to wineyard, village to village, crossing vast winter-landscapes and more,,,
What warranty and service plans are being considered?
10 years on canvas/equipment.
What are the export and international scaling opportunities?
We are already in talks with representatives for rental(tourism) in Italy and Spain.
Are there plans for future variants?
Yes… yeah… Ohhh yeah! Our work now is to make the Base sooo good that the next and future pods are only adjusted in base and top part can be both more versatile and/or specialized.
